I had the chance to go on an impromptu road trip to Montreal. It was a whirlwind of a trip and at the end I was super tired but I got the chance to meet and spend some time with a wonderful family, squeeze some midnight poutine from La Banquise and get lost several times.
But the highlight of the trip was definitely le brunch with Le Magnificent Clown, the lovely SaraDraws, the indefatigable Betty and Lord Evil Poppy.
After making them wait for 15 minutes because I – in a very Le SSG fashion, got lost and they had to come get me. We went to this place where the food is very good but the service leaves a lot to be desired.
Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Betty brought offerings of peace to Lord Evil Poppy so I didn’t end up pulverized as a punishment for making them wait.
