Hello, it is Sunday
you know what that means.
So let us be silly
and eat some tangerines.
My lovely friend Ink.
– a wise lady, you see
came up with this schinke.
And it is so clever, I think you’ll agree.
And now my lovelies
I have but to be
a noet, I tell you
and then have some tea.
This is my contribution for the The Noem Nook on Ink. (2nd Edition)
Thank you so much Summer Girl. That is a lovely Sunday noem :) Cup of tea sure looks nice. What’s a schinke? A ham?
Change your link to this one: http://anettehermann.wordpress.com/2012/05/27/the-noem-nook-on-ink-2nd-edition/ , then you’ll pop-up on todays noem post (the other one is from last Sunday, may not be many who sees it)
Ah, I didn’t realize there was going to be a second edition post. My noem post was scheduled before yours came out :)
Will change it now!
The plan is to make a new Noem Nook every Sunday. Wow schedule… it’s for the advanced bloggers. I tried once, post just never published.
oh, I guess I should go find out what “nook” means, then. I knew we were supposed to post a noem every Sunday but didn’t get the nook part **runs to get a dictionary*
Oh, well when you know what nook means, then I’d like to know. I just thought it was a cool word and a funny alliteration.
LOOOOOOOOL
Now, we’re even ;)
Yep, I think that’s pretty even ;)
I don’t know what a Schinke is. I came up with it and it is fun for me to pronounce. Besides, it was close enough to scheme but it still rhymed with ink :D
It’s so funny, ’cause I think it’s the German word for ham :)
oh, I should have known that LOL
Well, I think a ham works too ;)
Sure ham works! Ham bam dang ;)
he he
This is SO much fun!
I think there’s a saying going something like: “We only have the fun we make up our selves”… well, I’d say the fun we create with others are much funner :)
I concur!
I had never heard that saying but it is becoming one of my faves pretty quickly :)
Maybe it’s a Danish proverb… I’m not sure. My farther used to say it quiet often.
ah-ha! that’s where the wise come from! ;)
;) I’ve been searching and searching on the internet, but I can’t come up with anything, not even search on Danish proverb… maybe my father invented it :? He was a very clever man indeed.
Let us say your father coined that saying!
;)
‘have some tangerines’ — lovely!
Thank you :)
I like it!
Thank you, lovely! :)
This is lovely noem! :)
Thank you! :)
