Hello blogging friends (bloggiends?, Briends?, blogginses?).
I don’t know how it happened but my life got really busy all of a sudden. I am trying hard to keep up with your lives, up and downs, wins and loses, etc but it never seems to be enough.
I can’t hardly find have time to blog myself (or draw) either. I even missed the Sunday Noem Nook this past week.
But! I’ve been training up a storm. My dancing is already looking and feeling much better and I’ve got really good feedback from my coaches. Only two months till the International Lindy Hop Championships! So exciting and so nerve-wrecking!
I also have to deal with my beloved cat’s dental health issue. That’s gonna be a major set back in my finances. The poor thing has a broken canine and needs either a root canal treatment or an extraction. We’re talking about $1200 – 1500 here. My only hope is that he’s not in too much pain right now.
I hope you are all doing well. And I hope to catch up with your blogs soon!
September’s right around the corner!
We’ll be here for you! I can’t wait to hear how the Lindy Hop competition goes, and I hope your cat gets better. Poor guy!
Thank you! It’s gonna be a big test for me so I’m starting to get nervous :P
The Howler’s vet bills recently have been pretty steep… although… not THAT much. I promise I am not complaining.
Poor Howler. It’s so hard for us to see them in pain :(
Poor lil guy… :(
Yeah. My only concern is that I don’t have all the money right now so the treatment will have to wait and he’ll be in pain in the mean time :(
:( poor dude.
Hopefully, he isn’t in pain.
He doesn’t seem to be in pain but is is eating a lot less. I thought it was because of the heat but now I’m thinking it is because of pain :(
awww the poor baby :(
That is so much money! Why do they charge the same for cats as they do people!
I’m not sure. They gave me a detailed estimate. It includes blood tests, surgical fluids, anesthesia, x-rays, dental profilaxis and pain drugs. It might be more if he ends up needing antibiotics :(
