Can’t say that 2012 was a good year but in all fairness, it had some really good things. Going back to dancing and training was one of them. Finding Satchie, that adorable little craziness of a cat was another. My little DC vacation, a childhood dream come true is one of the highlights of the year, for sure.
I lost some friends but I made a few others. I laughed, I cried, I dance, I ate, I saw good movies but I was also very sick for a long time. All things considered, the balance is good, I think.
Nonetheless, I can’t say I’m sad to see 2012 go. I lost more than I gained.
Thankfully, the good things are so good, that they’re enough to allow me to look back and smile. I did win a medal this year, after all. Also, I didn’t break myself this year. This is the first no-injuries year in a long time. That must count for something, right?
And I got to perform the Sailor Girls routine again. That was cool!
Plus! I got to be part of the Canvas of the Minds family. That’s pretty cool too.
Oh, and of course, how could I forget… We all survived the Mayan Apocalypse! D’oh!

WE did survive, didn’t we? The Mayan Apocalypse and a whole lot more! Thank you for being there for me, friend!
And not to worry. I am here today, because a lot of kind people helped me along the way so I try to spread the kindness too.
Besides, we have each other’s backs, right? ;)
Happy New Year! Hugs.
Happy New Year to you SSG! That’s funny! — We all survived that Mayan apocalypse — whew!
Hell, yeah! Happy New Year to you Sandee. And by the way, you should check my post about the Colombian hot chocolate party. Just sayin’…
Here’s to a much better 2013!
I’m glad for you and Satchie and Jazzcat too! It’s been great getting to know you more as the year went on.As for 2013, I say “ditto” to the comment from transparentguy!
I guess I should have posted a pic of the kitties… or at least of Satchie, since I mentioned her LOL
LIkewise, Anita. And like I said to Sandee, you should take a look at the hot chocolate party post :)
I’m pretty sure I’ve said it already, but Happy New Year! (You can’t have too many good wishes.) Keep dancing in 2013.
I agree, you can’t have too many good wishes. All the best for 2013 :)
