We had a fundraiser at the studio tonight. The goal, to buy medpacks to send to Cuban hospitals.
We had a band, Cuppa Soup. It’s a Dixieland band
We raised $1300!
Yes, ’twas a great night!

Good for you, SSG! Nothin’ better than doing good and having a great time while you’re at it. BTW, I was watching some swing and Lindy Hop dancing on YouTube. They all looked liked a hand jive. Am I missing something?
Maybe. People put up all kinds of stuff so one has to be very discerning. If you search for any of the big Lindy Hop events you will get a better idea. Try Lindy Focus, International Lindy Hop Championships (ILHC), Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown (ULHS) just to name a few.
