Umbrellas & Rainbows

A couple months ago I went to this great restaurant in Saint-Sauveur, QC.

The ceiling had a number of skylights which created an almost magical atmosphere. It was like slipping down the rabbit hole. There were rainbows everywhere!

I had fun taking pictures… only to let them sit for a long time.

But today, I finally got around doing some editing -mostly cropping and adding a watermark.  No filters applied.

So here they are. And fancy that, I was wearing the perfect shoes for it too!

What I find interesting is how well defined each of the – sorry to use such technical language – spectral stripes is. Beautiful restaurant.

Heh, you’re sorry about using technical language with me?

I should add a page to my blog: SSG the Geek!

And yes, the place was absolutely beautiful. And I just realized I was so mesmerized by the little rainbows that I forgot to take a picture of the whole place. Darn.

Well, “stripes” hardly qualifies as jargon! You being the scientist you are, well, that was the other part of the brilliant sarcasm.

Mostly, I’m picturing the proprietor watching you take all the pictures and wondering what you were up to.

Yeah, I did catch a few funny looks as I was crawling under the tables and going around the place taking pictures. I am very happy they humoured me.

I find it very frustrating I don’t remember the name. But! I will find it.

Pretty! That reminds me of some photos I took of Emma washing our car. She was so impressed with the little rainbow that appeared in the spray of the hose.

BTW. Some great photography there Claudia!

There is something about rainbows, isn’t there?

I’love to see those photos too. I can understand why little Emma was so impressed. I would have been too. You should have seen me at the restaurant. Like a kid in a candy store :)

      Oh, and thank you!

Got something to say?
