Post Summer Solstice Report

fun was had!

.

.

.

What’s that?

Oh, you want me to elaborate? Why, I’ll be happy to oblige!

My birthday started with midnight poutine after a great visit with one of the great people I’ve met here in Windsor. I went to see a cat that is feeding in her backyard, hoping it was Satchie.

It wasn’t, sadly *sobs* but we ended up having wine and cheese and crackers and lots of fun.

Awesome.

As soon as we got home, I tricked Sid into giving me my present right away!

HOW COOL IS THAT???!!!

After a few hours of sleep, followed by breakfast – with the compulsory delicious cup of good Colombian coffee, Sid and I made pinwheels. That was a lot of fun even if at first I got it totally wrong and messed up some of my pretty paper.

*grumble*

Then we went shopping – weeeee- and then had a late lunch at my favourite pub, the Manchester

We came back home, had a nap, and then headed to the Detroit river pathway because I wanted to watch the sunset. As we discovered, the river is not the best place to watch a sunset but there was a small fair happening so I forgot all about the sunset for because I got too busy thinking about the cotton candy, ice cream, mini doughnuts and games.

It was fun. And then on Monday…. something arrived in the mail!

The most awesomest cushion ever

That’s right. People have started giving me cat presents. There’s no turning back now.

I am a bona fide Crazy Cat Lady and that’s that.

So, that concludes my report.

Hope you all had a great first day of summer (or winter, if you are on the other side of me)
