T minus 20 hours

Yesterday was all about doing laundry.  Four loads each.  We’ve been quite busy and never got around doing it.  That took half a day and the worse part is that when I come back, I’ll have to do all over again.  But I don’t care much about that right now.

Today was about getting last minute shopping done.

And now, the packing begins!

T minus 2 days

A crisis was averted.

Jay will be well taken care of and all goes according to plan.

My daughter and I went shopping yesterday.  We needed performance/competition staples such as pantyhose and stuff.

Today, I did laundry and then went to the grocery store to buy what I needed for my toiletry bag.  I was running low on toothpaste and body wash.

Tomorrow I have to go buy Jay’s food, candy for the road trip and then pack.

My daughter and I are being picked up at 7 am on Thursday.

I can’t waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait

My lovely hosts

Greetings from Montreal (sorry, le Clown and Ringmistress, unfortunately, I’m limited as how much free time I have. Perhaps a quick coffee tomorrow?)

This is a flash roadtrip. N, N’s boyfriend and I are here for a friendly Balboa competition/dance. I still don’t know if I am competing cause it is a Pro/Am format. Will keep you posted.

In the mean time, let me introduce you to my hosts.  They graciously agreed to pose for me.

Le Brunch In Montreal

I had the chance to go on an impromptu road trip to Montreal.  It was a whirlwind of a trip and at the end I was super tired but I got the chance to meet and spend some time with a wonderful family, squeeze some midnight poutine from La Banquise and get lost several times.

But the highlight of the trip was definitely le brunch with Le Magnificent Clown, the lovely SaraDraws, the indefatigable Betty and Lord Evil Poppy.

After making them wait for 15 minutes because I – in a very Le SSG fashion, got lost and they had to come get me.  We went to this place where the food is very good but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Betty brought offerings of peace to Lord Evil Poppy so I didn’t end up pulverized as a punishment for making them wait.

Good times!  Well, any time you avoid getting killed by Lord Evil Poppy is a good time!

I love that little cutie pie

Only bad thing? Le Bear was not there :(
